Try to open up to your doctor and therapist and get them to understand how serious things are for you now. If they do not hear your need, then try discussing the Emotion Checklist on page 250 with them to improve your emotional communication. Try to open up a new dialog with your friends and family and help them understand how you are really feeling and what they can do to help. Explain that you could not share the full extent of your depression problem before but you are willing to talk about it now if they are interested. Remember, they do want to help you, but you have to let them.
